My first golfing day for the season…took my wife to the small but beautiful Alpino Golf Club in Stresa (Lake Maggiore)…weather was absolutely gorgeous, so I wore a pair of light gabardine trousers herringbone woven, made out of a “mouliné” yarn in all the kaki shades. A short sleeve, button-down, cotton polo shirt…mint green socks, just perfect with my brown/white, hammered leather, water-repellent, Goodyear welt golf shoes. A quick snack before the tee-shot then…off we went for a great play. I still play quite well, but my wife is truly catching up…
